At the Buyers Home Inspection Service, Inc. we provide a home inspection that is a visual examination of the physical structure and electro-mechanical systems of a home. It describes the components and identifies areas in need of attention according to ASHI® Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. A written report is promptly prepared at our office after the approximate 3 hour inspection. An "Inspection Agreement" must be signed before the inspection can be started
Most home inspections are performed as an integral part of the home purchasing process. An increasing number of home buyers are finding that an inspection is a good way of learning about their new home as well as discovering any undisclosed defects. It is important is that the our clients be present at the home inspection for this very same reason.
Inspections can also be performed prior to listing a home for sale. Correcting defects and having components properly maintained can make a home more attractive to buyers.
Finally, many homes are inspected on a routine basis to make sure everything is in good condition. Roofs attics and crawl spaces are difficult and sometimes impossible for homeowners to check.

Q: How do I choose a Home Inspector?
A: Call up and ask about their credentials and experience. If for some reason you don't feel comfortable asking this of the inspector when speaking with them on the phone then how will you feel asking questions at the inspection. You must feel that the inspector is qualified, experienced and attentive of your needs. More

MOLD
What
is Mold? Molds are fungi. Molds grow
throughout the natural and built environment. Tiny particles of mold are present
in indoor and outdoor air. In nature, molds help break down dead materials and
can be found growing on soil, foods, plant matter, and other items. Molds
produce microscopic cells called "spores" which are very tiny and spread easily
through the air.
